Dr Liz Westcott is a registered nurse and former elected Vice-President of the Phi Mu Chapter. Liz became President in July 2019 until July 2023. She is also currently the Secretary for the Chapter. Before working at Oxford Brookes University Liz had a career in neuroscience nursing holding the roles of Sister in neurology and then Senior Nurse in neurosurgery. During this time Liz also became the first lecturer practitioner for neurology and neurosurgery in Oxford. Liz led many developments in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences including the introduction of the nursing masters, diplomas and foundation degrees. Liz also led the very successful 125 years of Nursing Education in Oxford year long celebrations in 2016. Liz was a member of the Board of CAIPE from 2010-16 and is a member of FINE. Currently Liz is an assessor for the Oxford Test of Competence Centre. Liz has been a member of Sigma since 2014. She is also an Executive Coach and Coaching Supervisor and is a member of the International Centre for Coaching and Mentoring Studies (ICCMAS).
